I just wanted to update you on Adrien’s performance today. The event was the Crater Cruise which is a 105km MTB race, the hardest single day MTB race in South Africa. The conditions were hot , dusty with an unbelievable amount of corrugations AND the best MTB and road riders in South Africa took part as they raced for the biggest prize purse on offer. Adrien finished 7th overall in under 3h30 minutes. The race was won by Melt Swanepoel with Kevin Evans 2nd (both Team MTN), Burry Stander was 3rd, Andrew McLean 4th, Jock Green 5th (ex Barloworld road rider), Nic White 6th (MTN road rider and UCI Africa Tour winner for 2008) and the great Adrien 7th.

I can’t wait to see more talent coming from Rwanda.
