MODSquad Cycles commits percentage of sales to Project Rwanda and Kona AfricaBike.

To celebrate Black History Month, MODSquad Cycles, the only bicycle shop located in historic Harlem, New York City, will donate 10% of its February 2010 revenue to Project Rwanda and Kona AfricaBike. MODSquad believes in Project Rwanda’s commitment to furthering Rwanda’s economic development through initiatives based on the bicycle—including its Coffee Bike project and support of Rwanda’s national cycling team. Owner Oyé Carr says, “Bikes are not just for sport. They are also a means of environmentalism and a source for social change.”
